The Puddle

Aidan turned 17 months old a couple of Saturday's ago. He's doing great with words. It seems like he gets a new one every day. "Park" and "please" are two that are pretty cute. But he only breaks out "please" when he REALLY wants something.

Should I do it?
I think so!
This is great!
Gotta go, mom's calling.

4th Pictures

We were in Oklahoma for the 4th. Aidan seems to remember our parents now, and we get a kick out of that. Clearly, we had a great time and Aidan did great on both flights. My parents were able to get some new words out of him. He started saying "night, night," when he was going to bed.

Aidan had his first trip to a swimming pool. I didn't take the camera so this is as close as you get.
He saw Grannie in the parade, and clapped along with everyone else.
This was a bird bath in the backyard that he liked spilling the water out of.
Two of my best friends came over for dinner. Dan with his fiancee Julie, and Andrew with his wife Jen. That was fun.
The happy Grandparents.

Hair Cuts and Father's Day

Gary and Ann were in town last weekend. I think they had fun and I know Aidan did. It's been a busy summer. Since the middle of May we've had something going on every other weekend. We'll be in Oklahoma next weekend.

Aidan's in a really cute stage right now. It's a shame he has to get bigger. He's doing really well with words right now. But what is really fun is that he'll try and say words if we ask.

We both had really long hair.
This is what happens when I let him eat his yogurt.
The Thackers.
There's Aidan with his new haircut.
And there's me, with mine. Ouch, that's not a good look, but it was Father's Day so I was without product.

It's heating up in DC, which means I'm hunkering down in an air conditioned room until college football kicks off. We're at about 90 days and counting, not bad. Speaking of college football, my goal is to have Aidan participate in one part of the "We Are...Penn State!" chant at some point during the season. His vocabulary consists of, "phone," "keys," and "chip." We've got our work cut out for us.

These pictures are of my parents recent trip.

There's the happy Grannie.
Aidan gives her a thumbs-up.
Both hands on the vehicle please.
We went to a DC United game. Aidan was broken up that he was left behind.
Not sure what's going on here.

Back from Tennessee

We're back from Tennessee. It was a great trip, and it was nice that Aidan could play with everyone this time. As you remember, over Christmas Aidan had a form of the plague.

Also, we came to a realization that vacations from here on out, are not going to be quite as relaxing as they use to be. That's not a complaint.

My parents are in town next week.

Aidan did very well when playing with his cousin Lily. Except for the two times he tackled her while hugging.
Seriously, what's the deal with pink?

He got a wagon ride at Nana and Poppy's.

15 Months

Aidan turned 15 months old today. A trip to the doctor told us he weighs 25 pounds, is 33.5 inches tall, and has a normal size head for his other features. He also got 3 shots.

To celebrate we took him to Chipotle and Uncle Mark's office.

This might be the new "birthday" picture.
He absolutely knows how to flirt/ham it up now.
Yep.
And he's eating wheat thins.
He was helping Heather with her laundry and decided to put on her PINK tank top. Ummm, no comment.

4 Years

First, happy 4 year wedding anniversary to Heather!

We took Aidan to a birthday party last Saturday and had a blast.

Aidan is with Gary and Ann, again, we're heading up to Philly this weekend for a wedding.

"Oh, you mean I can hold the food and take a bite."

"But, it's sure hard to talk when my mouth is full."
"Jailbreak!"
"If I can just squeeze my head through...."
"Nope."
