Speaking of Max, Aidan got in trouble the other day for hitting Max on the head with a roll of wrapping paper. They were "sharing" a toy car and Aidan wasn't thrilled with Max's time to play with the car. Aidan had to go to timeout in his room and cried the entire time. Max walked in, put his head on Aidan's lap and gave him the car back. Talk about great.

Aidan Sings
A couple of stories to go along with this post. First, the song that Aidan is singing is "Roll On" by Alabama. You might recognize it. Last night Aidan sang it for Heather and I before he went so sleep. As he finished up with an emphatic "roll on!" We heard Max, who we thought was asleep in the other room yell his version of "roll on!" It was great, and Aidan got a real kick out of it.

Where Have You Been?
It's been a busy 4 months. Sorry, but we're back and hopefully I'll be able to update this twice a month. That's the goal at least.
A few updates: we moved, Max's favorite word is "uh-oh," Aidan starts pre-school in September. My apologies to Max, he didn't get nearly as much coverage as Aidan did, but that seems to be the breaks for second children. I would know:) On to the new pictures!
Welcome to the new house.....
Max has had two haircuts, it's a jungle.
We went to Oklahoma for the 4th.
There we are.
Max took to Uncle Mark
If you're still out there, check back sooner rather than later.

Max Turns 1
Aidan's birthday pictures are going to have to wait. Max turned 1 yesterday. It's been a fast year, too fast. Our first year with Max has been so different then our first year with Aidan. I think that trend will continue as the boys get older. On to the pictures. Videos will come later.

I owe everyone, and Max, a 9 month picture. That will probably come with the 10 month set this weekend.
We had a great time in Tennessee for Christmas. The boys did great in the car, Aidan watched the GPS the entire time.
Aidan is potty training again and is doing much better. Here are some excerpts from conversations we've had this past week:
"Daddy, I don't know how to get my poop down. Maybe when mommy comes home she can help me."
As we're driving in the car, "Aidan, do you have to go to the bathroom?"
"No, there's no toilet in the car, ha."
"Can I have my marshmallow now?"
"Mommy, are you wearing your underwear too?"
He literally cracks us up everyday.
While Aidan makes us laugh for how he talks, Max gets to us through physical humor. That's not saying much because he can't speak, but you get the idea. Aidan is great with him, they'll fight over a toy but Aidan won't touch him. Max is a bulldozer. He sees a toy that he wants that Aidan has, watch out.
Max loves standing in front of our vent and lets the heat blow on him.
Nap time.
