4 Years

First, happy 4 year wedding anniversary to Heather!

We took Aidan to a birthday party last Saturday and had a blast.

Aidan is with Gary and Ann, again, we're heading up to Philly this weekend for a wedding.

"Oh, you mean I can hold the food and take a bite."

"But, it's sure hard to talk when my mouth is full."
"Jailbreak!"
"If I can just squeeze my head through...."
"Nope."

Fair warning, most of these pictures are close-ups. Not exciting, but we think they're pretty cute. It's a little strange because in a couple of these Aidan looks like pictures I remember seeing of myself. I guess my parents and Mark can truly answer that.

If anyone with small kids is interested my dad(who has some authority on the issue) sent me this link about Swine Flu. http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/parents.htm

Mischievous!

Little Jeff 1?
We like this one because Aidan is doing something with his lips that he does all the time.
Little Jeff 2?

Aidan In a Box

I missed the best part of this event(imagine a cat in a box), but hopefully you'll still enjoy the video.

Easter Photos

We had a nice Easter. Rashan and Leigh stopped by for brunch.

Aidan is doing two really cute things. First, he's saying "hi." And most of the time it's in the correct context. I'm not sure of the word, but if him saying "hi" is any indication, when he really starts speaking it's going to be....odd? Not the right word.

The other thing he's being doing lately is giving hugs. He literally will put his arms around our necks and squeeze, it's perfection.

The happy family......
The happy dad........
What? Not sure what we did here, but Aidan didn't like it.
That's more like it.
He saw the Easter bunny in the park.

Aidan's Bunny

Aidan's Great Grandmother gave him a stuffed bunny for Easter. He loves it. He loves it so much he won't let it starve as seen in the video.

Sorry, again, for the lack of posts. But I spent the first half of the NCAA championship game last night clearing photos off the camera. I got through 200, there are 500 left. If we ever have a second child, he's going to feel cheated.

Speaking of last nights game, I had a funny memory. During last years game, we were still waking Aidan up around 11:30 for his last bottle. I was giving it to him that night so I could stay up and watch the game. It went into OT, and I got so worried that he'd wake up or that I was going to be late giving him his bottle. Not so much anymore.

My favorite part of the video is the floating gerbil at the end.

My dad is in town, and I think was appropriately charmed. Now, we just need to get my parents in town at the same time. Oh, and a big thanks to Leigh for covering last night when our baby sitter called in sick late in the day.

Still waiting on Aidan's first real word.

I think he looks like a Jawa.
This isn't just a picture of his bottom. He was actually putting his head on the floor and looking at us through his legs.
Aidan loves dogs. He gets a kick out of them. This only furthers my argument for getting a dog.
Training for an Easter egg hunt. We tried to get in the White House but didn't make the cut.
So cute.

Grannie's Visit

Sorry for the lack of posting. I blame the economy.

Aidan's been doing all kinds of fun things lately.
*he'll put Heather's slippers in the correct spot
*he'll try and hang up his jacket when we get back from a walk
*he'll bring me his shoes or jacket when he wants to go outside.....I think
*when he's done eating he'll take off his bib
*if we ask if he's hungry he'll go and stand by his high chair
If I didn't know better I would think he was a great pet.

My mom was in town over the weekend for city business, it's nice to know she can take advantage of a junket as well.

We went to the park and had a swing...
and a slide.....
and a smile.....
and sadly had to say goodbye.
