Mr. Mom and It's Been 12 Weeks

Today is the second day that I've been home with Aidan, so far so good. He misses his mom and I know she misses him, a lot. I talked with Heather about this yesterday, and she completely understood, but I feel like Tom Hanks in Castaway. Not in the sense of his utter hopelessness and despair and that he might never get rescued-Heather where are you? But he found a volleyball, Wilson, to talk to because he had no one else, and I have Aidan. Of course neither of them talk back and Aidan at least smiles and tries to have a conversation with me. I guess he's not really like a volleyball at all, but the point is, when Heather gets home I flood her with conversation.

Aidan also turned 12 weeks old today.

Check back frequently because I don't have much else to do but blog.

I found that if I put Aidan in the corner of the couch he takes care of himself.

Cute Mother's Day picture.
This is from yesterday and it was right before a nap, Aidan was cranky.
I guess this had to happen, and I still owe Heather a shot of all us decked out in our, gulp, Georgia gear.

Aidan seems VERY excited to be in his GA gear -- it's about time! Next time I babysit, I'm bringing over the Redcoat Marching Band CD for him to enjoy.

Your band is named after the army the Americans kicked out during the Revolution? Wow, how very un-Southern. I prefer the Blue Band, it's a little more patriotic.

Tee hee! I received an email from Christina in which she mentioned a baby Waner. So I googled Heather Thacker Waner and here you all are! Congratulations on a beautiful baby boy. I'm so excited for you. Hope we can meet up soon, Christa

Great pictures! Aidan looks so alone on the couch. And the last picture qualifies him to do the baby stock-trading commercial; look alikes. Aidan, Grandmother Waner is coming! Get ready to hold your breath during the hug sessions.
