Mark's Night-Update/Mother's Day!

Finally, some pictures of Mark's night. And we'll even use his wording to caption them. Everything went well, he sent us two texts during dinner. One, "his lungs work," and I'm not gonna say what the other was.

Also, Happy Mother's Day! It's fun, we got to add a holiday this year. I've mentioned them before, Mark's friends who just had a baby as well, but it's interesting hearing their newborn stories. They're oddly similar to ours, as in the toys aren't really for the babies, they're for us. The toys buy us a few minutes of peace at a time, and it's fantastic.

The big news is Heather, sadly, goes back to work tomorrow. We'll leave it at that, but yes, I have four weeks of vacation now (and yes, that joke has already been used).

“Hi, I’m Aidan. Thought I’d have my personal assistant keep track of my big night with Uncle Mark. You can tell by the look on my face, I’m not completely sold on this development.”

“The service here is terrible…it’s like the chef had no idea how long it takes to heat a bottle of milk.”

“At least it’s full service.”

Shhhhhhh…..don’t tell.”

“Nothing whets the appetite for my 10:45 meal like a nap and a bear hug.”
