About 3 hours after Gary an Ann got to DC, Heather and I were on a late night drive across the city. 9 hours after that, we had another baby!
Heather did great, of course. She's a trooper.
Some initial thoughts, and my thoughts aren't very organized right now because we're a little short on sleep.
*I didn't feel the same initial fear I had when Aidan was born. Meaning, I wasn't terrified I was going to break his arm when putting on Max's shirt.
*While Max was technically bigger then Aidan at birth(Max came in at a whopping 8 pounds 14 ounces) I feel like Max is smaller. I think I don't remember, and I'm use to Aidan being big.
*Speaking of being use to Aidan, Max does not respond when talked to. He doesn't say, "hi daddy," or tell us what he wants. Have to get use to that again.
*When Max cries, he turns a bright, bright red. If I didn't know better I would think he has a really bad sun burn.
*His head is full of black, soft hair. It's my favorite part right now.
*The title of the blog has temporarily changed, Aidan gets to keep the web address, but Max takes the title. I'm sure I'll hear about this in 20 years.
*I'm already mixing up the names, and have had to go through this post to make sure I didn't call Max, Aidan, or vice versa.
*Enjoy the pictures, check back often.
