We had a big few days. On Monday, we had a surprise visitor.......Uncle Clyde! He made it down for the day while on a trip to Delaware. Aidan put on the charm, of course. Now it's time to give my mom a hard time. Uncle Clyde has now seen Aidan as many times as mom, I think a trip is in order.

On Tuesday, Aidan turned 9 weeks old, and we decided to dress him in a toga. Actually, during his naps we keep one of his arms out of his swaddler just to get him use to the idea of not sleeping with one.

Not sure how he likes that idea.

For turning 9 weeks he won a trip to the doctors for a check-up. He's a little over 13 pounds, and he's 25.5 inches long. That and he got four shots, two in each thigh. Aidan did fine when he got them, but was a little cranky at night. Besides the shots, the doctor got him to roll over for the first time. Once this was accomplished he had a "what was that about" look on his face. Then he started crying because he didn't know what else to do. If I'm not considered a bad father, I was laughing the whole time of the rolling incident.

Aidan looks so lonely sitting on the couch. Is he really reading?
